프로일레븐은 마이너한 게임이기도 하고, 한 게임에 필요한 인원도 많은 게임입니다. 선호하시는 7:7 경기를 하려면 14명이 필요합니다. 서로의 실수를 조금 더 넓은 마음으로 이해하고 지켜봐주시길 부탁드립니다. 저 또한 프로일레븐을 처음 접하시는 분들의 실력이 빠르게 올라올 수 있도록 패치 방향을 계획하고 있습니다.

접속자 수가 워낙 적고 자주 뵙다 보니, 닉네임만 봐도 어떤 플레이를 하시는지 어떤 성향이신지 서로가 서로를 알고 있습니다. 저 같은 경우 실제 친구나 가족보다도 프로일레븐을 함께 플레이해주시는 유저분들과 더 많은 대화를 하고, 더 많은 시간을 보내고 있습니다.

최근 프로일레븐의 동시 접속자는 피크 타임 기준 25~35명 사이를 오가고 있습니다. 이 경우 두 경기가 잠깐 돌아가거나, 한 경기만 돌아갑니다. 40명 정도는 되어야 안정적으로 두 경기가 동시에 돌아갑니다. 두 경기가 돌아가지 못하면, 한 경기를 못 들어갔을 때 대기 시간이 너무 길어져 인원이 급격히 감소하게 됩니다. 지금은 두 경기가 동시에 돌아가는 경계선에 계속 걸려서, 붕 뜨는 인원이 많은 접속자 수가 유지되고 있습니다.

이런 말씀을 드리는 이유는, 게임이 재미없거나 밸런스가 맞지 않는 등 제 능력이 부족한 사유가 아닌 다른 이유로 유저분들이 게임을 떠나는 경우가 계속 발생하고 있어 부탁을 드리고자 함입니다.

아시다시피 현재 프로일레븐은 14명이 한 경기를 하게 되는데, 게임 난이도가 어려운 편입니다. 처음 시작해 흥미를 느끼셔도 실력이 올라오기까지 많은 시간이 필요합니다. 실수를 하면 모두가 그 실수를 보게 되기 때문에, 공 한 번 못 잡고 뺏겨 역습 실점으로 이어질 때 13명이 지켜보고 있어 처음 하시는 분들에게는 상당히 부담스러운 게임입니다. 공을 잡으면 상대 선수 2~3명이 엄청난 속도로 뺏으러 달려오니 공포스럽기도 하고요.

조작이 미숙해 실수와 실점이 이어지면, 안 그래도 얼굴이 화끈거리고 심적으로 부담스러운데 가볍게 던진 농담 한마디나 질책에도 생각보다 큰 상처를 받게 됩니다. 지금 프로일레븐을 함께 플레이해주시는 모든 분들은 사실 한 마음이라고 저는 생각합니다. 유저가 조금 더 늘어 경기를 많이 하고, 클럽도 늘고, 대회도 열리길 바라는 마음.. 저 역시 같은 마음으로 계속 작업하고 있습니다.

부탁드리겠습니다. 처음 프로일레븐을 시작하려 노력하시는 분들이 답답해 보이실 수 있지만, 우리와 함께 이 마이너한 게임을 해보겠다고 설치하고, 불편한 튜토리얼을 완료하고, 플레이해보시는 분들께 조금만 더 애정 어린 관심을 가져주시길 부탁드립니다.

클럽으로 초대해 팁을 알려주시고 함께 교육해주시면 실력이 빠르게 향상될 수 있습니다. 저 또한 처음 접하시는 분들이 어떻게 하면 빠르게 적응해 실력을 키울 수 있을지, 무엇이 필요한지 계속 고민하며 개선 작업을 진행하겠습니다.

Pro Eleven is a niche game, and it takes a lot of people for a single match. The popular 7v7 needs 14 players. Please watch over and forgive each other's mistakes with a little more patience. I'm also planning patches to help newcomers improve quickly.

Our player count is small and we see each other often, so just from a nickname we all know how someone plays and what they're like. Honestly, I spend more time and have more conversations with the people who play Pro Eleven than with my own friends and family.

Lately, peak-time concurrency swings between 25 and 35. At that level, two matches run briefly or only one match runs. It takes about 40 to reliably run two matches at once. When two matches can't run, missing a single match means the wait gets far too long, and players drop off sharply. Right now we're stuck right at the threshold for two matches running at once, so a lot of players end up in limbo.

I bring this up because players keep leaving for reasons other than my own shortcomings — not because the game is unfun or the balance is off — and that's what I want to ask your help with.

As you know, Pro Eleven runs 14 players per match, and it's a fairly difficult game. Even if someone enjoys it at first, it takes a long time to get good. When you make a mistake, everyone sees it — losing the ball and conceding on the counter with 13 people watching is a lot of pressure for a beginner. And when you do get the ball, 2–3 opponents come sprinting at incredible speed, which can be genuinely scary.

When clumsy controls lead to mistakes and goals, it's already mortifying and stressful — and even a light joke or a bit of criticism can hurt more than you'd expect. I truly believe everyone playing Pro Eleven right now is of one mind: wanting more players, more matches, more clubs, tournaments. I'm working with that same wish in mind.

So here's my request. Newcomers may look like they're struggling, but for those who installed this niche game to play alongside us, finished the awkward tutorial, and gave it a shot — please give them a little more warmth and attention.

If you invite them to your club, share tips, and coach them, they'll improve quickly. I'll keep thinking about how newcomers can adapt and grow faster, what they need, and I'll keep working on it.
