넓은 경기장은 패스가 쉽고 상대 압박이 늦게 들어오는 장점이 있지만, 반대로 상대가 공을 소유했을 때 뺏기가 어려워집니다. 또한 현재는 미드 · 공격 · 수비 태클이 모두 하향된 상태라 중원에서 소유권이 넘어가는 빈도가 적었고, 그만큼 위아래로 오르내리며 뛰는 시간이 길어져 경기가 루즈하게 느껴지는 경향이 있었습니다.

과거에는 공을 잡는 로직이 개선되기 전이라 공간이 좁을 때 공을 잡고 패스하는 난이도가 높았지만, 현재는 공을 조금 더 쉽게 잡을 수 있도록 개선되었기 때문에 경기장을 축소해도 큰 무리가 없을 것으로 보고 있습니다.

실제 경기 데이터를 봐도 이전 시즌들에 비해 전체적인 태클 · 차단이 확실히 줄어든 상태입니다. 공을 여유 있게 받고 패스하기 쉬운 장점은 있으나, 그만큼 경합이 줄어 특히 미드필더의 재미가 크게 반감된 것으로 보고 있습니다.

경기장을 축소하면 선수 개개인이 점유하는 공간의 비중이 커지고, 경합과 소유권 다툼이 잦아지면서 더 타이트하고 다양한 플레이가 나올 것으로 기대합니다.

· 경합 승자라도 수비와의 차이가 근소하면 헤딩슛이 부정확하게, 뜨면서 나갑니다.

· 수비가 경합에서 이기지 못했더라도 근소한 차이로 졌다면, 이제 공격자의 헤딩이 부정확하게 나갑니다.

견제 판정의 적용 범위는 지켜보며 밸런스를 맞춰 나가겠습니다.

하이클리어 스킬을 사용하더라도 타점 · 타이밍 점수가 중요합니다. 하이클리어는 경합에서 우위를 점하도록 도와주는 스킬입니다. 정확한 타점에서 타이밍에 맞춰 헤딩하는 것을 권장합니다.

A larger pitch makes passing easier and delays the opponent's pressure, but it also makes the ball harder to win back when the opponent has it. With midfield, attack, and defense tackles all currently lowered, possession changed hands less often in midfield, so players spent more time just running up and down, which made matches feel loose.

In the past, before the ball-trap logic was improved, collecting and passing in tight space was hard — but now that the ball is easier to collect, we believe a smaller pitch won't be a problem.

Match data backs this up — overall tackles and blocks are clearly down versus previous seasons. Receiving and passing with time is nice, but with fewer contests we feel it dulled the fun for midfielders in particular.

A smaller pitch gives each player a bigger share of space, with more contests and battles for possession — we expect tighter, more varied play.

· Even the contest winner, if the margin over the defender is slim, produces a heading shot that's inaccurate and flies high.

· Even if the defender didn't win the contest, losing by a slim margin now makes the attacker's header inaccurate.

We'll keep tuning how wide the check judgment's range should be.
